Pilates Spiky Massage Balls – We love our Massage Balls !!! We work them mostly on our feet to aid mobility and stability in joints but there are also fantastic for relaxation !!
Pilates Weighted Balls – Some clients like to increase the intensity of their classes by using the simple aid of just adding a lightweight ball to the exercise. This helps to build up muscle and strength in the body. Leg weights are also available.
Pilates Bands – The simple use of a rubber band during a class is a great way to help with any restrictions that may need a bit of support during and excise but it can also be used to help increase stability in a joint or improve a stretch.
Pilates Stability Balls – These deflated balls are just excellent for teaching us how to feel the stability of the back and pelvis whilst working in small motions to help increase the core strength with minimal movement. They can be used under the Upper Back, Pelvis, or between the Knees or Ankles.
Blocks – Blocks can be used in both Pilates and Yoga classes to support the head/neck and also to aid a pose that needs additional support or lift.
Soft Blanket – yes we love snuggling under them at the end of a class to unwind !! They are also very useful during our classes for extra comfort for bad backs, hips, or knees depending on which exercise we may be doing.
